Support does not arrive on one channel. Connect the mailbox you already own — any IMAP and SMTP host — and your agents answer email from the same screen they answer chats in, with the same canned replies and the same assignment rules.
This is not a forwarding address that rewrites your From line. You give us IMAP and SMTP credentials for a mailbox you already own, we sync the folders, and replies leave through your own server from your own domain. Turn us off and your mail is exactly where it always was.
A mailbox that receives ten thousand messages in an afternoon — a list subscription gone wrong, a loop, a bomb — would, on a naive sync, spend your entire background capacity on one tenant. Each run takes a capped batch of the oldest unseen messages and advances only past what it actually ingested, so a backlog drains over successive runs and nothing is dropped.
Billing’s mailbox is not support’s mailbox. Grant an agent the mailboxes they need, or hand a lead access to all of them — the same assignment thinking that routes your chats, applied to your mail.
No, and you should not want to. You keep your mailbox with whoever hosts it today; we connect over IMAP and send over your SMTP. Disconnecting us leaves your mail untouched.
They leave through your own SMTP server from your own address. There is no rewritten From header and no ticket-number subject prefix.
Mailboxes are synced on a rolling cadence of roughly twenty minutes. Chat is real-time; email is email.
